Mi Designs is able to provide various services for clients. Listed below are the most popular services offered, an explanation and a price if applicable. Since website creation is so individual, I do not offer *package* deals. My fee is $60.00 per hour. The amount of time it takes to create a website depends on the information you are able to give me. The more I receive from you, the less time it takes me. The majority (there are some exceptions) of the sites in my portfolio averaged between two and 20 hours.There is additional information on the Fine Print page.

WEBSITE SIGN-UP

It is not always necessary to pay a monthly fee for a website. There are several locations on the world wide web that provide space for websites for free. Some allow only personal sites, some allow only business and some allow both. Mi Designs will search out the best location for your web home, register you and upload the site. This is something that you can do yourself if you choose. Please keep in mind a business site should be on a paid site to insure there is no conflict between the banners you will be forced to display and your business not to mention the quality of the service (i.e. uptime, backup, tech-support etc) I do not recommend free sites for business, trust me on this - I speak from experience. DOMAIN NAME SEARCH/REGISTRATION

If you prefer your website be listed in your business or a personal name, i.e. - www.yourname.com, Mi Designs can help you. Remember, having your own domain name may limit your ability to have a free website.

Mi Designs will submit your site to appropriate banner exchanges and place the

corresponding code on your web pages. Normal hourly fee applies. One unique banner design will be created for a flat fee of $15.00. If you desire additional banners for different exchanges a $20.00 charge per banner will be applied.

Mi Designs will create graphics for your site on an *as needed* basis to achieve the look you desire. Graphic design is billed at the normal hourly rate of $60.00.

Sometimes what is needed to give a website a unique twist is Java. Mi Designs can
find and install the perfect Java applet or script to put the finishing touch on your site. The fee for this service is included in the hourly rate.

Mi Designs will set up a messageboard, guestbook or chatroom if necessary for your site. There are various types of services available. Some will require coding and the ability to host cgi on the site - others are free and hosted on a different server. The free services will generally have banner type ads that run on the page. If this does not present a problem for your business then cgi is not a requirement for your site host. Normal hourly rate applies.

Websites should not be static. That is, you should plan on improving, rearranging or updating your site on a regular basis. At a minimum this should be done once a month. It is not enough to keep striving for new visitors. You want your previous visitors to come back. This is most important if you run a business site.

Mi Designs will take care of the maintenance of your site by reminding you it is time to update and make the appropriate changes to your site for a fee of $120.00 per year for a monthly update, or $500.00 per year for unlimited updates.
