Over the course of the three years I have been involved
with web site design, I have joined many many many lists. The reason has always been try
to gain more knowledge and receive helpful hints regarding the graphics programs I am
using or to gain more insite into the nuts and bolts of web design (HTML, CSS, CGI etc.).
I quickly discovered that there are good lists and
so-so lists and lists that turn out to be fun and games, barely able to stay on topic.
Only a few have turned out to be *keepers*.
So, here I offer you the best of the best (In my humble
opinion) e-mail lists for specific programs and general design principles ( with a few
different topics thrown in as well ).
I have made them links and the descriptions come
directly from the list's homepage.

HTML-Haven -
HTML-Haven is an HTML Discussion Group dedicated to accommodate the novice as well as the
seasoned web designer. All questions are welcome no matter how silly or trivial they may
seem. No question is too trivial or silly as we have all been there before and have gone
through what the new or novice designer is experiencing. I want everyone to feel welcome
and to create a friendly atmosphere where one can ask whatever questions they are faced
with at any given time -- providing they are related to web design, the Internet, email,
web research, search engines, or anything else that is somehow related. HTML Haven
Discussion Group is created to provide a Haven for all to come when they are in need of
HTML or related help. We welcome the experienced web designer as well, who would like to
give back some of their knowledge to help those that are new to the field. Won't you join
us!

loosely related. We regularly present tutorials prepared by the list members. We are not
rule maniacs and we are, at times, a chatty bunch.

PSPClass2 - Class is
now Open!! Space is limited, sign up now!!
The purpose of PSPClass2 is to help each other learn tools,
techniques and procedures using Paint Shop Pro 5 & Paint Shop Pro 6 (PSP). PSPClass2
is for intermediate users, people who already know the simple basics of PSP and now want
to know how to USE those tools. Each week a tutorial will be posted for each person to
complete. We will be working individually, on our own; yet we will be working together as
a group on the same tutorial, and post questions and problems that occurred during the
tutorial. We think this will be a great group to exchange information on all PSP related
topics, like tutorials, plugins, masks, layers, brushes, tubes, etc. as well as help each
other. Let's work together and have fun!
